Not too long ago, my buddy called me to hang out at his place.
I told him I would bring some steaks and burgers to cook on the grill, and we would shoot some pool at his house.
I got some porterhouse steaks and hamburger meat, and we got to cooking on the grill. It was nice hanging out with my buddy, because it seemed like it had been a long while since we were able to hangout. The food was smelling delicious but then my buddy came to me with an issue. He said the HVAC system quit working. When I asked him what happened, he explained that there was some loud noise and then everything just turned off. I thought I heard some kind of strange noise while I was outside, and I realized that the A/C condenser unit was no longer functioning. Fortunately, I had learned a thing or two from my uncle about working on HVAC systems. I asked my buddy if he trusted me to work on his HVAC unit. I told him I was not HVAC certified, but I was pretty sure I could figure out what was going on with the HVAC. He said I could work on it, and I let him finish cooking the food on the grill. It honestly wasn’t that hard for me to figure out the issue with the A/C system. I thought I might have to run to the store to pick up a part, but I was able to solve the issue without even having to do that. When the A/C system was working again, my buddy was amazed. I was even more amazed by the delicious smell of the food though!
