My Mom and Dad are coming to visit at the end of the month and I have been furiously cleaning the apartment.
I want the place to be perfect for my parents.
This is the first time that they have come to visit since I moved more than 600 miles away. They are going to stay for five nights and I am going to show them the city and all of the sites. I have a few days off from work while they are here. I spent most of the week cleaning the floors, walls, and furniture. The floors needed to be scrubbed and cleaned and the furniture needed to be worked on well. I dusted all of the furniture on Monday, and I woke up on Tuesday with dust on the furniture again. I realized that the issue could be inside of our HVAC duct. I removed a bunch of air duct covers and the inside of the air duct was filled with dust and dirt. I quickly realized that the complication was with our indoor ventilation system, and on Wednesday, I called an HVAC company that specializes in indoor air quality and HVAC duct cleaning. I made an appointment to have the HVAC duct cleaned and sanitized on Thursday. I really hope that my mom and dad will be happy staying with me. I have done my best to make sure that things are perfect. I even bought a queen-size bed for the spare study room. I want my parents to sleep in comfort and that means a cozy bed and cool AC. I cannot wait to show them everything in town.
