My mom’s furnace is working again.
- My mom is such a trusting person.
I know that it can be a good thing to be trusting, but it can also be a awful thing to be trusting. She trusts things that she shouldn’t trust like her furnace. She trusts that her furnace will last her this coming winter time because it started working once again. Her furnace quit last winter, and it was terrible. It stopped working for about a week. She heated her condo with her gas stove and a few electric space heaters. I felt so awful for her. The furnace ended up turning back on after a week of not working, and it worked the rest of the winter. I decided to test out her furnace last week, and it would not turn on. It is November, so she doesn’t need her furnace right now, however I wanted to make sure that it was working. It wasn’t working. I told my mom that her furnace wouldn’t turn on again. She said that it would actually eventually turn on, so she told me not to worry about it. Well, I don’t see how I could not worry about it. She kept trying to turn her furnace on for several days in a row; Finally, after a week of it not turning on, it turned on. She is now convinced that her furnace is enjoyable and will last her the winter. I wish so badly that I had the cash to pay to get her furnace worked on, however I simply don’t have the cash right now. I don’t even know anyone who knows anything about furnaces. I hope she is right and her furnace lasts this coming winter.
