I have a rather pressing family.
My friend and I are genuinely close however at times a few of us can get absolutely competitive.
During every major holiday our family will get-together plus hold a lunch. This year the lunch is held at my house. My home is somewhat small plus is not as pressing as my other siblings’ houses are. I am the youngest of my siblings so I don’t have all of the luxuries that they have. My oldest sibling typically seems to try to compete with me. When my friend and I were at lunch one night he kept making remarks plus comments about my house. He kept saying, “When are you going to repair the paint on the wall?” Just a lot of comments like that. What he does not understand is that I am gone for most of the time so I can’t do a lot of things around my house. During lunch my friend and I started eating plus he made a comment saying that the air quality in my home does not seem genuinely clean. I told him that it was plus that I changed my air filter about 2 months ago. He told me that there was no way that my air filter was changed so he made me get up out of my seat, take the air filter out of my Heating, Ventilation plus A/C system plus show it to him. My air filter was clean considering the fact that I did change it 2 months ago. After I proved him wrong he stopped talking to me for the rest of the night. He typically tries to get on my case.
