Just recently I had to pick up my kid from the nurse because he had a fever plus he had caught the flu when I took his to the healthcare workers last week. That day I missed a absolutely pressing meeting for when I had to pick up my son. It had to be at least 74 degrees there plus I was in a business suit. I was absolutely hoping that the a/c would kick on at any moment. When he brought up that I could potentially have this promotion if I wanted to transfer to a weird state, I was a little frustrated because it is something I want to do however that means I have to transfer away from my extended family members.
