I have a rather sizable family.
We are certainly close but at times a few of us can get legitimately competitive.
During every major holiday our family will get together and hold a supper. This year the supper is held at my house. My condo is somewhat small and is not as sizable as my other siblings’ houses are. I am the youngest of my siblings so I don’t have all of the luxuries that they have. My oldest sister always seems to try to compete with me. When my nice friend and I were at supper one night she kept making remarks and comments about my house. She kept saying, “When are you going to service the paint on the wall?” Just a lot of comments like that. What she does not understand is that I am gone for most of the time so I can’t do a lot of things around my house. During supper my nice friend and I started eating and she made a comment saying that the air quality in my condo does not seem certainly clean. I told him that it was and that I changed my air filter about 2 months ago. She told me that there was no way that my air filter was changed so she made me get up out of my seat, take the air filter out of my HVAC system and show it to him. My air filter was wipe considering the fact that I did change it 2 months ago. After I proved him wrong she stopped talking to me for the rest of the night. She always tries to get on my case.
