Someday when I have my own house and I’m not renting an apartment, I would love to have a lot of updated things in my home.
The apartment that I’m renting now is very outdated.
My landlord provided some TVs that are very old, and not to mention the thermostat on the wall are turn dials. The thermostats are not digital and I’m hoping that in the next month or so he will change out the thermostat to either a digital thermostat or a smart thermostat. I have told him plenty of times that installing a more updated thermostat will save him money because you can set the thermostat on a schedule. When I own my own house someday I definitely want a smart thermostat. This will allow me to control the temperature of my home when I’m away from it or when I’m close to my home. During the winter time I like to set my thermostat up higher than what I have it set to where I’m not home, so when I arrive home my house will be nice and warm. I also want a very efficient furnace. The furnace that I have in my apartment now is very old. It’s those radiant heaters that are connected to the wall. At times I don’t even know how it works so I have to call my landlord and sometimes he doesn’t know how it works so he has to call the HVAC company to maintain the heating. One day I will have a house that has a smart thermostat and great heating and cooling.
