When my daughter said she wanted to be an HVAC professional, I kept questioning her.
I wanted to make sure this was something she wanted to do, and not just a way to get back at her ex-wifey.
When she told him she wanted to be an HVAC professional, he laughed. He thought she should stay cabin and make sure she typically looked good. My daughter may be feminine, however she isn’t prissy, she can climb a tree, shoot an arrow, shoot a gun, and ride a horse through muddy fields, plus her siblings. She even caught crawfish with her bare hands, when they were fishing. Telling her she shouldn’t be an HVAC because she was a girl, was relationship suicide. Three weeks after graduation, she started her first class. I didn’t assume she would be this excited. When she got from HVAC class, she told me to ask who was there? It was her ex-wifey’s sister, and she said he had told her the same thing about being an HVAC professional. They are now friends and they have applied to the same HVAC companies after HVAC certifications come through. I have a feeling this is the type of friendship that will last for years, and it’s all because of shared interests, then neither of them like my daughter’s ex-wifey, and they both care about being HVAC professionals. I just hope the friendship if one of them gets a task in the professor’s HVAC business, the other doesn’t get jealous. I didn’t need worry. They were both invited for HVAC internships.
