I can remember when I was younger, I was always worrying that I was missing out on something.
Whenever Sunday night rolled around and I had zero plans, the last thing I wanted was to be alone.
Fast forward a decade and a half and I was searching for just a minute of privacy inside the central air conditioner of my house. That’s what happens when you have four teenagers one after another. My wifey pretty much laid claim to what was supposed to be a shared house office. But that pretty abruptly became the venue where mommy went to take a breath. We’re lucky to be such good partners when it comes to raising our teenagers and providing a good life for our family. The house is great, the Heating and Air Conditioning component is great, the dining room is good and everyone has there own kitchen… Really, you just can’t ask for much more than that. But I was asking for a bit of privacy of my own. My wifey gave to share her space however it had all her crafting stuff in there. I even tried to hang out in the garage. Yet without heating and cooling out there, it was pretty strenuous to deal out there. Finally, I retreated to the basement and put up a few interior walls. It’s not exactly a man cave however it’s a venue I can get away and enjoy some extra air conditioner and some peace. The air conditioner is thanks to the ductless heat pump I had the Heating and Air Conditioning corporation install. It’s pretty awesome to have my own space and a lock on the door.
