It takes about an hour to check the whole system from the top to the bottom, inside and out. Our technicians perform a full system inspection that includes several different parts of the system. Our AC repair technicians check the thermostat to make sure that it is perfectly calibrated and working properly. They also make sure that the air conditioning unit is in good working order. They look for signs of wear or tear. Sometimes this can include hoses that have cracks or holes or wires that are worn or afraid. They check the coolant levels and inspect the condenser drain line. The drain line is an important part of the AC unit because it keeps the moisture out of the machine. When the drain line becomes damaged or clogged, it can shut off and keep the AC unit from working. During thunderstorms in spring months, we frequently have customers call because there are problems with the AC unit. Mud and leaves become trapped in the bottom of the condenser drain line and we have to clean it out. It’s really not hard to perform the service on your own at home, but of course we are happy to help with any AC problem and it doesn’t matter how big or small.
