It’s getting cold in this house and we didn’t know what to do. We are getting up there in age and know what we can do if there are troubles with any of our heating or cooling needs, but there are times we’re just lost. Sadly, today is one of those days. We phoned the Heating and Air Conditioning company and they sent out our friend, Ted and Huey, who technically are the owners of the Heating and Air Conditioning company. They walked in our door smiling and we were really happy to see them. It’s been a long time since we have seen Ted and Huey and they have been the folks that we could count on for ages now. We were just surprised they took on the task themselves. Ted and Huey took a look at our heating plan and noticed that the pilot was out. They tried lighting it and it failed. We were a bit anxious because we started thinking we might need a new heating plan put in. We didn’t want to be spending money on that installation. Ted and Huey took their time though and figured out the issue. It was something to do with the thermocouple and it needed to be replaced. Just a part of the heating system that will help get the pilot to light. They said that they had one in their Heating and Air Conditioning van and it won’t take that long to replace the part. We were so happy because we knew it could’ve been extravagant. After a short bit the section was replaced and the pilot lit up. We then could bask in the warmth of our house and thanked them so much. Ted and Huey are the best.
