When the local heating and cooling company had a sale going on I couldn’t believe it! My husband and I have been going to the same heating and AC business for the past 10 years and they have never once had a sale. So what changed? Well after doing a little bit of digging we found out that the heating and AC business had recently come under new management, and the new manager was much different personality wise than the old one. The only one was a pretty strict guy, he believes in having high prices and didn’t really see a point in discounts. This doesn’t really make sense to me from a business standpoint but that’s another topic for another day. But the new guy, who was his son, was much more laid back than his dad was and he thought that the heating and AC products at their HVAC business were overpriced and so he decided to not only lower the prices but to have a sale on some of the heating and AC stuff. Everything was 20% off the day that he came in and took over the store. I wonder what his dad thinks of his decision? We go through a bunch of disposable air filters every few months and so now seems like the perfect time to suck up. We bought enough air filters that day to last us for 6 months!
