It was so hot that I was covered in sweat just for the 10 minutes I was there
My kids have been complaining a lot about school. At first I did not think that much about it because kids are constantly complaining about school because most kids hate school. Why would they? At that age I’d rather be outside playing rather than sitting in a building being told things that are not interesting. Of course there are positive sides like they will make friends and have fun, and they might genuinely learn some useful things. My kids were truly angry when they were in school. It kept talking about how the heat was truly bad and how they couldn’t stand being in school. At first I thought that they were being melodramatic, after all it couldn’t be that bad, I’m sure the school had a cooling system or something and it just wasn’t as cool as they would like it to be. I did not realize how wrong I was until I went to visit my kids school during orientation and I felt for myself how the school is burning up inside! No wonder the kids weren’t going to focus on anything. It was so hot that I was covered in sweat just for the 10 minutes I was there. I now see why my kids were so uncomfortable in class, they talk about how they wish they had an AC system to cool down underneath. I do not blame them at all for wanting to cool down, it was truly hot in the school.
