My kids have been complaining a lot about school.
- At first I did not think that much about it because kids are complaining about school because most kids do not like school.
Why would they? At that age I’d rather be outside playing rather than sitting in a building being told things that are not interesting, and of course there are positive sides like they’ll make friends and have fun, and they might actually learn some useful things! Anyways, that is getting off topic, and my kids were certainly unhappy when they were in school. It kept them talking about how the heat was bad and how they couldn’t stand being in school. At first I thought that they were being melodramatic, after all it couldn’t be that bad, I’m sure the college had an air conditioning method or something and it just wasn’t as cool as they would like it to be. I did not realize how wrong I was until I went to visit our kids college during orientation and I felt for myself how the college is burning up inside! No wonder the kids weren’t going to focus on anything. It was so hot that I was sweating just for the 10 minutes I was there. I now see why my kids were so uncomfortable in class, they talk about how they wish they had an AC method to cool down underneath. I do not blame them at all for wanting to cool down, it was certainly hot in the school.
