I’m not sure what has been going on as I’ve recently but my energy bills have been through the roof! The problem is that I haven’t done anything to my normal routine to cause my energy bills to be so high like this.
- I haven’t been running my heating or my air conditioning system any more than usual so I don’t know what is causing this problem but I know that I’m going to have to get to the bottom of it if I want to stop.
I didn’t really want to pay more money but the advice that I was getting from everybody was to schedule an appointment with my local heating and AC company. It was a good idea to have them come out and take a look at it to see if they can figure out why my prices were so high. When the heat and AC guy examined my HVAC system he found out that I had a leak in my air duct and that was the cause for my prices being so high. The air conditioning system was working extra hard to cool the house but all the cool air was escaping. He had to patch it up but once it was fixed he took care of the problem and I noticed that my price has started to go back down to normal. I was really relieved to find the cause of the problem because I couldn’t continue paying those high prices like that, I’ve been considering not using my central AC system all together if that had continued and instead of just using a fan.
