The weather has changed prematurely and I am not yet prepared for the warmer months. Typically, I wait until April to start getting ready for the Summer, but by the way things are looking, it seems that I will need to start preparing now. This weekend, I spent some time cleaning out my closet and I removed all my sweaters and Winter clothes and replaced them with my Spring and Summer attire. Additionally, I like to switch my curtains to lighter colors during the Spring, so I also got that done this weekend. Because the weather is so warm, I went to the local nursery to see what blooms they had available and even the people at the nursery were surprised at the change in weather. The only thing that I need to do is to schedule an appointment with my HVAC technician. My last appointment was May of last year, right before I began using my air conditioner. But to be honest, I have already used my A/C this year without getting it serviced. As mentioned, the weather made an unexpected change, so I had no choice but to use my A/C. My HVAC technician has always told me the best time to get my unit serviced is between seasons because that is usually the time of year when most HVAC technicians are not as busy. Once the busy season hits during the Summer and Winter months, it’s always more difficult to get service in a timely manner. So, for the last 5 or so years, I have always scheduled my HVAC service right before Summer. This year, I plan on doing it in the next couple of weeks, especially since I am already using my A/C.
