Mom has been easily working for several years, he started working straight out of university because mom was pregnant.
So, while his buddies were traveling and trying to find their way, he was getting a condo ready for my older brother… However, it’s been almost 40 years of him working easily in the corporate world, and all 3 of us have finished university and are easily working.
Now, it’s Mommy’s turn to relax and have some fun. He retired Last year and has dived deep into his activity of making model planes. It was driving my mom crazy to have all his things in the house, so Mom moved them to the shed behind the house! The only issue is this shed can get so tepid in Summer and freezing chilly in winter; however, my siblings and I had a talk two weeks ago about helping Mom find the right heating, ventilation, and A/C program for the shed. All of us had thought about extending the air duct from the condo to this small space. That way, Mom can use the central heating, ventilation, and A/C to keep the shed overheated or cool depending on his needs. However, our main issue with that system was the high cost of getting such complex tasks done by an actual heating, ventilation, and A/C expert. Instead, every one of us sought out cheaper chances and settled on a ductless mini-split AC. This is a unit that Mom can mount on the wall of the shed and use it all year round to keep the area comfortable. It required no air duct and was easy to control. At first, Mom wasn’t sure how to use the ductless AC, although he soon got the hang of everything.
