Overburdening our air conditioner caused a buzzing noise

I tend to use our Heating as well as A/C component quite heavily, particularly in the summertime.

I rely on our air conditioner to supply myself and others with comfort, especially because around here, rapidly changing temperatures in the Summer can reach the triple digits, with 100% humidity to boot! I’ve heard that keeping the control component around 74 degrees will help with energy costs as well as will make sure that your method is not too heavily taxed in extremely hot weather.

I never legitimately put much stock in this advice, because I legitimately appreciate rapidly changing temperatures significantly lower on the control unit. I remember while in a particularly hot spell, I never set our control component any higher than 79°. After a few nights, I observed a buzzing noise coming from our Heating as well as A/C unit. It wasn’t all that bad at first, however then it got louder as well as louder. It was particularly loud when the air was on. I called an Heating as well as A/C serviceman as well as described the sound to him. He asked myself and others if I had been using our air conditioner constantly. I admitted that I had been, as well as he said that there’s a good chance that I was over using the air conditioning system as well as taxing the method too taxing as well as that was the cause of the buzzing sound. He recommended that I turn off the air conditioner for a little while to provide it some rest as well as see if the buzzing sound continued once I turned it back on. That’s not exactly something I was wanting to do, because it was the middle of the day, but I acquiesced to his request as well as used box fans for a couple hours instead of the air conditioning system, however just love he said, that seemed to clear up the buzzing noise once I turned the air conditioner back on. I guess you need to provide the Heating as well as A/C method a cut every now as well as then!
