My number one supper counter is a great place for a variety of reasons.
They primarily serve sandwiches, soups, and salads, and they are some of the best you will ever try! The reuben sandwich they have is as authentic as can be, and it will knock your socks off.
Their shrimp gumbo is perfect for a chilly afternoon. I also appreciate a salad that they have with roasted chicken breast, thinly-sliced almonds and a delicious sesame ginger dressing that is perfect for a warm afternoon. However, even if the menu items weren’t amazing, I suppose I would still frequent this restaurant. That’s because it’s consistently seriously comfortable inside thanks to their weather conditions control and the settings they put on the thermostat. I have to specify that they suppose the settings to put on their thermostat to keep their patrons comfortable. This is because the office I labor at near this supper counter is managed by people who clearly do not understand how to keep their employees comfortable. The weather conditions control at our office is indeed powerful, but it is abused. The a/c is blasted so hard that I suppose I would like being out in the heat! Also, in the winter, the heating system is similarly abused to the point where I miss the chilly air I was in before stepping inside the building. Thus, this supper counter is the 30 minutes of respite that I get nearly every afternoon from the terrible office conditions I have to endure while in our 8 third shift. I am consistently so reluctant to leave the comfort of that restaurant!
