Every one of us all loved the classic hide-and-go-seek game as adolescents… Hide-and-seek was my favorite game as a kid until a absolutely frightening event took locale & made me despise the game.
- What happened has changed not only the way I think of the game, but also of how I think of Heating & A/C units.
It all happened on a cool Summer day when me & my friends were playing hide-and-seek. On that same day my mom had the Heating & A/C serviceman come over to inspect our Heating & A/C units as he did every year. While the two of us were playing the game, I decided to hide in the Heating & A/C air ducts. It was indeed a clever hiding locale, but little did I believe the danger I was in. I sat quietly waiting for the adolescents to provide up their search, but after a few hours in the Heating & A/C air ducts, I started to believe a rush of hot air flood over me. I was right away terrified. I didn’t expect the oil furnace to be used on a Summer day like this! It turned out that the Heating & A/C serviceman was doing his respected inspections & had to turn on the oil furnace to ensure it was toiling respectfully. I started screaming & rushing for the exit of the Heating & A/C air ducts, and luckily the air vent opened honestly & I escaped without any harm. I ran to the thermostat to see what the temperature was set at, & found the Heating & A/C serviceman inspecting the thermometer indie of it. I suddenly realized what had happened & told my friends I didn’t want to play anymore, from that day on, I have never hid in an Heating & A/C air duct for fear that I might be roasted by the oil furnace unexpectedly.
