I also care about the fact that our boss puts major decisions up to a vote with all members of the Heating and A/C team getting an equal vote… Recently, every one of us all decided to vote to see if every one of us should have discounts for customers with financial struggles, and everybody in our team believed this was a righteous cause, because every one of us see first hand how hard it is for people who can’t afford what they need to keep their families safe and healthy, and for example, everybody these days should have an air purification plan in their home, and preferably a UV air purification system
The Heating and A/C contractor I labor for sincerely amazes me. Our boss has been entirely fantastic to all the members of our Heating and A/C team, including those agents on the cellphone lines who arrange for our many types of Heating and A/C appointments, both of us also have a group of electricians and plumbers who take care of those types of troubles. It’s a great contractor to labor for because it attracts all sorts of odd customers. Trust me, people are ecstatic when they learn they can have most of their needs covered at 1 location, it’s a major thing. But sadly, so multiple people can’t afford crucial Heating and A/C components love this; So if every one of us agreed to approve discounts, every one of us all had to also take a small pay cut. It wasn’t too massive of a deal to be honest, and it was for a great cause and I believe there was only 1 guy who chose not to take the pay cut, despite the fact that he was cool about the vote.
