The air conditioner was working last year, but apparently, over the winter, the central air conditioner started breaking down. However, I didn’t know that, and I wouldn’t have known that without the inspection that the HVAC technician did. This is why I pay the HVAC technician to inspect my HVAC unit. He always tells me when there is something wrong with the HVAC units, and it helps me to prepare my central air conditioner for the summer. However, this time, when the central air conditioner was being inspected, the HVAC technician found a ton of problems. He told me that the central air conditioner would cost me over a thousand dollars to get the HVAC unit fixed. Since the central air conditioner was also very old, the HVAC technician recommended that we replace the central air conditioner instead. Although it would be more expensive right now, I would save money in a few years by completely replacing the central air conditioner. I called the HVAC technician to get a quote on how much it would cost to replace the central air conditioner, and he told me that he would be at my house soon to find out. However, it has been two weeks, and I haven’t heard anything from them. What am I supposed to do?
