I love my kids and I’m not sure if I would have done anything differently when I was younger.
The kids are not just little ones to entertain me, but they are also the best company you could ask for. They make me laugh and they let me know if someone is doing something wrong. The only problem I have with having kids is that they tattle so often. They even tattle on my husband and I when we do something wrong. The other week, my husband was supposed to be changing the air filter in the air conditioning unit. He had already told me he vacuumed the dust off the air filter. He had forgotten to buy new air filters. He thought it was a good idea until he could get to town and purchase a new box of air filters the following day. My son thought it was a great idea to tell me that daddy was trying to cheat on the air conditioning unit. He said that daddy thought he could save money by just using the old air filter again. I told my husband what he had said, which he admitted he did. When our son asked him what he was doing, he told him he would save money. He just vacuumed off the dust and said it would last for a while longer. I knew that would only be another day or two, but our son didn’t. My husband and I had a big laugh for quite a while over this. For the next couple of months, he changed the air filter while our son was at school.
