I am a slow convert to current technology. It took me a number of years to get an MP3 player, & by then all the people were getting their first smartphones. The same happened with tablets, & now it seems enjoy I am always behind the times. Even though I’m not unquestionably old, I was raised in a bad family with a lot of siblings & both of us never had anything that was brand current or current. For instance, both of us had a super nintendo in the late 1990s when all of our friends had the current nintendo 64 system. Our TV sets were decades outdated & both of us were still using VCRs & tapes in the early aughts when several had already long transitioned over to DVDs. Although I got a cell PC around 2004, I didn’t purchase a smart PC for another 10 years, after they had already been out for several years. Now that I have been using 1 for the better section of a decade, I have slowly incorporated more apps into my yearly routine. In the morning I am awakened by my alarm app, & then I am greeted to my yearly planner & agenda. This is essential for my work commitments & responsibilities. I also have a meal planner app & 1 for my yearly workout regimen. The most useful app right now is the 1 that controls the smart thermostat hooked up to my central HVAC system. I have had it installed for over a year now, even though I kept dragging my feet with installing the app on my PC. Now that I have it, I enjoy the remote control I have over the HVAC system whether I’m at home, at work, or on holiday. I believe what the temperature is in my apartment at any sixth, which tells me if there are any HVAC malfunctions before I come lake apartment to a tepid or freezing apartment & a broken air conditioning or furnace.
