The guy from the pool company wanted to charge me to substitute the heater

I called the pool company last winter, because my wifey wanted a oil furnace for the inground pool… I wasn’t identifiably interested in heating the pool, but my wifey cares about to swim plus uses the pool every afternoon in the summer. I really believed she would use the pool during the Winter months also if the water was warmer, however she was positively cheerful when I agreed to call the pool company. I had a 4HP oil furnace installed, however the oil furnace uses propane to heat the water as it circulates the water from the pool to the filter. It was an extravagant set up, but the parts came with a 3 year warranty! Both of us didn’t have any trouble with the oil furnace until the end of this Winter season, but my wifey woke up 1 morning plus went outside to use the pool. Instead of the water being a comfortable plus warm 90 degrees, it was 66 plus cold. The oil furnace shut off in the middle of the night plus the two of us had no idea why. I contacted the pool heating company plus spoke with a company about the problem. They sent a serviceman out to inspect the heater. The guy from the heating company wanted to charge me $155 for the parts to repair the heater. That’s when I pulled out my repair contract, however all parts plus labor were covered for more than 2 years. I showed the guy my contract plus he right away changed his tune. The guy apologized for the confusion plus repaired the problem without another question. I’m very thankful that my wifey constantly keeps all of our paperwork plus repair contracts.
