I have been working as an HVAC contractor for several years. I work independently and I also have a professional company that handles repairs and minor installation projects. Most of the time, I stay busy. My mom and dad really wanted radiant heat, so I spent two weekends installing all of the components for free. My mom and dad bought all of the supplies and I spent a lot of time and energy to install the radiant flooring. That was almost six months ago, and my mom called me for the first time in a week to complain about the heat. My mom called me Monday afternoon and told me there was a problem with the radiant heat. I was still at work and I could not leave at the time. I was right in the middle of an air purifier installation job and I was working with a new technician. My mom must have not been happy with my response, because she called another company to fix the radiant heat. It wasn’t even very cold outside, but my mom was being terribly impatient. I would have come over later that night after work was over, but my mom made sure to let me know that she didn’t need help any longer. I hope she didn’t pay a fortune for something that I would have done for free.
