Well, this year for groundhog morning, that critter that came up obviously predicted 6 more weeks of winter. It never was something that I thought too much about but I had to divulge that little critter was right. The two of us got hit with some dire snow storms after that morning. I couldn’t believe the amount of times I had to be out shoveling and snow blowing. I have been getting so sick of this snow, but I was at least thankful that our oil furnace was able to pull us through the serious snow storms. There were several days when the youngsters had to stay beach home from school because the roads were too dangerous to drive on. They sure had a blast though going outside to play in the snow. They made snowmen and everything. They also built a pretty cool looking snow fort where they had a snowball fight. I have mostly been fantastic inside with the fire going in the fireplace. I’m blissful that every one of us have that fireplace because it particularly lowers our heating bills hugely. When every one of us first moved into our home, every one of us didn’t even use the fireplace because it had a few repairs that needed to be done. When every one of us finally got everything done with the fireplace and the chimney cleaned out, every one of us were able to enjoy our first experiences with the warmth of the fireplace. That fireplace has never let us down and has kept us hot while every one of us were in power outages too. I believe without the fireplace, every one of us could have froze to death on a number of occasions.
