Tightening up the loft ductwork for Heating as well as A/C savings

Though super efficient, I still had to do our part to optimize that Heating as well as A/C efficiency.

The summer time is super warm around where I live. It’s unquestionably just a balance for how awesome the rest of the year is weather conditions-wise. However, the heat in the summer time can become downright painful to endure. There unquestionably is not a superb way to manage that kind of heat without a reliable Heating as well as A/C cooling unit. By far, our region overwhelmingly uses the Heating as well as A/C heat pump to give that much needed cooling. There are the kind of folks who still employ an evaporative cooler called a swamp cooler. But, that is an unquestionably difficult way to manage this kind of heat. No, the Heating as well as A/C heat pump is a far more preferred system and it does a unquestionably nice work as well. But, it does come at a steep price. The days of just allowing the heat pump to run non stop are over. Today, our utility rates are a significant chunk of the household budget. So, it now requires homeowners to pay close attention to the amount of kilowatt hours being sucked up by the heat pump in the summer. I believe that I had to get unquestionably proactive in an attempt to curb the spending on utilities. I am truly blessed to have a unquestionably superb Heating as well as A/C but, that wasn’t near enough. Though super efficient, I still had to do our part to optimize that Heating as well as A/C efficiency. First, I unquestionably sealed up our loft super tightly. Every year, I go over every inch of our loft in an attempt to find any and all gaps that will allow Heating as well as A/C treated air to escape. That also meant having our air ductwork resealed because that is a huge section of Heating as well as A/C leaks. The tighter the loft ducts the less the Heating as well as A/C runs.
