Some of them use UV light to kill the germs as they enter the machine. I could not afford a UV light air cleaner, however I did find something in my price range with a washable air filter. I can remove the air filter at any time to scrub the dust as well as debris from the mesh screen. I can genuinely scrub the air filter every day or every other day or even once a week. The washable air filter means that I won’t have to spend a luck on upgradement filters.
