I did not want to add another expense to my monthly bills. Still, I changed my mind when it became apparent that the Coronavirus was going to be a very big problem. I thought the virus would pass our country like most of the others, but it hit us hard. My family was affected shortly after the first cases were found. My mom came in contact with someone at her office that was positive. My mom tested positive the next week and then my dad and my sister. Thank god none of them were gravely ill during their bout with Covid19. I decided to buy an indoor air cleaner to keep my home safe. I chose a machine with a washable air filter. Before I started looking at indoor air cleaners, I didn’t even know that you could buy something with a washable air filter. Some of the indoor air cleaners don’t even have an air filter. Some of them use UV light to kill the germs as they enter the machine. I could not afford a UV light air purifier, but I did find something in my price range with a washable air filter. I can remove the air filter at any time to clean the dust and debris from the mesh screen. I can actually clean the air filter every day or every other day or even once a week. The washable air filter means that I won’t have to spend a fortune on replacement filters.
