Behind the scenes with theme park HVAC service

I am contractually obligated to keep quiet on the details, which really kills me sometimes, but I have started working for one of the major theme parks. As you probably know the pandemic really hit the entertainment industry hard, and the theme parks were almost put out of commission for good. Now that they are reopening they need specialists, so I got a contract, and now I work “behind the curtain” at the most magical place on earth. I fix HVAC systems, by the way, I myself am not an entertainer. This state is extremely hot and humid, not to mention prone to biting bugs, so climate control is considered a top priority by management. They need their performers and entertaining to have cooling, and excellent air quality,to provide the best possible experience for the guests. They have entire teams of HVAC techs that work on the main areas, but only a few of us do what I do, and work behind the scenes with the talent. I get to see the inside of the control rooms that operate these amazing rides, while I’m inspecting their HVAC systems. Climate control is so important here that we don’t fix things that break down, we provide daily inspections and maintenance so that they never do break down. Whenever we see a piece of equipment that may become problematic, we just replace that HVAC component with a new one. This way there is never a disruption to the humidity or temperature control system, for the benefit of the workers, the fans, and the equipment itself.
