Periodically I’m absolutely amazed at how bold people can be. I was typically shocked when I was growing up as well as my oldest sibling was more than glad to steal things right from under our noses. If you had jewelry, money, electronics, or anything of value… Say goodbye to them. I suppose that I typically assumed he was so bold with his illicit activities because all of us lived in the same home as well as had family affixions. However, the older I get the more obvious it is that people will revert to extreme actions even if you’re a complete stranger. This never could have been more clear than when my town started to experience a rash of break-ins as well as property thefts. It started with the copper wire being removed from local air conditioning units. Because central AC units contain some of the upscale metal, these cooling systems were preyed upon by local criminals. As such, folks started installing air conditioning cages around their central cooling systems. As if that wasn’t bold enough, these thieves took things a step further when it came to my I do not have a large central cooling method at my house. Instead, I use multiple small AC window units to keep the air quality under control. I couldn’t feel it when I realized that somebody had stolen the AC window unit out of my home right before my legitimately eyup. I was at beach home 1 afternoon with air conditioning… And abruptly there was no air conditioning anymore. It really made myself and others question the character of people in my village, as well as my own hearing.
