My mom has a panic button in case of emergency

And so the two of us managed to avoid having the police or firemen show up at our mother’s house for no reason! Now, she’s comfortable with the program plus she feels much more secure because of it

My mother just turned 80 last June… She hasn’t slowed down much. She still drives her automobile to go shopping or have dinner with friends whenever she wants. She attends neighborhood board meetings plus is undoubtedly active in local politics. And she likes her yoga class on Saturdays plus her spin class on Saturday nights. My mom also still manages to keep up with the cleaning, gardening and maintenance on her home. But despite how spry she is, I worry about our mother residing alone! I make a point to stop in to visit her nearly every morning. I regularly call her in the night before bed to make sure she’s safe, cheerful plus healthy. I also have this fear that she’d fall down plus be unable to call for help. I didn’t want her to ever be scared or in pain with no way to get assistance. And I am anxious that someone might realize she is an elderly lady residing alone and then break in. So after some research, I decided to have a security program installed into her house. Although our mother undoubtedly likes the system, it took some adjustment for her for the first couple of weeks. She accidentally set off the alarm at least once per week! The security monitoring company would call me plus I’d supply the official code to them. And so the two of us managed to avoid having the police or firemen show up at our mother’s house for no reason! Now, she’s comfortable with the program plus she feels much more secure because of it. She knows if someone pulls into her driveway now and she can see who is knocking on her door. She’s able to watch real time footage of every angle of her property, too. And there is also a panic button in case of an emergency.
