Life has honestly dealt Blake some heavy blows lately and he is learning to be patient with himself for the most part. Blake looks at some of his married friends and feels left out of the loop as he has no adolescents and no partner. Their lives are filled with all of this togetherness while most of his time is spent alone. But it won’t be like this forever. So, Blake needs to learn to enjoy the peace and quiet more than he does. There are moments he feels lonely but in reality he is just alone, and his Heating, Ventilation and A/C pro coming home reminds him that he is honestly not all alone. She works five afternoons a week for the company in the neighborhood and they have an unbelievable relationship, working together most of the time to solve concerns in the loft with things like broken water heating systems and dirty floors. The previous night she accidentally shut the powder room door and the cats relieved themselves in the sink. The terrible things couldn’t get to their powder room because his Heating, Ventilation and A/C expert shut the door to their litter box room, which is her powder room. They were trying to be polite though and went in the sink because it kind of resembles a litter box. They prefer to hang out on the whole home air cleaner most of the time, unless they are in his office resting on his lap while he writes his heating and cooling stories. Right now his little baby cat is nestled on his legs while he does this work.
