All Hydronic furnaces need to be evaluated for leaks

Needless to say, our assumptions were all correct

After more than a year of putting it off, I finally took our vehicle in for an oil change the other day. Aside from paying for an additional tire rotation, I knew the dealership would do a full vehicle inspection and I was anxious what the results could be. The fear of some unknown issue was lingering on our mind, in space because I had a clunker of a vehicle years ago and it had problems almost every month that it was in our possession. Thankfully, our vehicle came back the following day with all of the fluids topped off, the cottage air filter changed, and the tires rotated. There were no major problems, the battery is in great shape, and the tires still have another year of tread left on them. I might need to replace our back brakes within the next numerous years, but our vehicle is otherwise in great shape. However, I have a different kind of inspection coming up and this 1 I’m fearing more than ever. My water boiler plan wasn’t entirely working entirely well the last time I used it at the end of the Winter season earlier this year. It seemed like the water pressure was off and I couldn’t get the condo to heat up to more than 60 degrees. Thankfully the weather outside warmed up and I was able to shut the plans down, evacuate the water lines, and leave it off for a while. Since I feared having leaks of some kind, I knew I needed a heating and cooling tech to inspect the entire plan before I tried to use it again. Needless to say, our assumptions were all correct. There were numerous leaks and the maintenance costs were not pretty. However, I do feel relieved that the whole plan is fixed and ready to use when the Fall season arrives later in the year.
