My wife has always given me a hard time about not being able to repair things around the house like the HVAC system.
I don’t see what the problem is with hiring HVAC professionals and other people to take care of things around the household. She acts like we could save so much money if I would just learn how to fix these things on my own, but I beg to differ. I have told her that if a non-HVAC professional works on a climate control system, the warranty can easily be voided. I’m not trying to ruin that for our HVAC system. If I were to break the HVAC, we would be paying a fortune to have a new HVAC system installed. I don’t have time to go to school to become a professional HVAC worker, and I’m fine with just calling in the professionals for help. She just doesn’t get it and I don’t think she ever will. It has a lot to do with the fact that her old man happened to work on their climate control system. The thing is, climate control systems these days are certainly far more advanced than whatever he was working on in their home. It really is best to be on the safe side and put your trust in the professionals. Even if they were to mess up your HVAC system, it would be under warranty and they would have to fix it or replace it with a new one for no additional cost. I’m even thinking about enrolling in an HVAC service plan so that I can save even more money with our HVAC system maintenance needs.
