When I was told that my HVAC system was nearing the end of its life, it made me feel kind of sad.
I had this HVAC working for me through the most uncomfortable weather and now I was hearing that it was coming to its end.
It made me think about how sad I was when my grandparents died. I mean of course the HVAC system is not living, but I felt like I had a relationship with the system as it was always there to take care of me, and I took care of it. I did everything that a good homeowner is supposed to do, I had the HVAC tuned up regularly, I had the ductwork system cleaned, and I always changed the air filters on time. The HVAC has been working for me in an energy efficient manner, I feel like my HVAC experience won’t be the same when my old friend is finally gone. I don’t suppose that I am going to have a funeral or going away party for my HVAC system or anything, but I will never forget my old HVAC system either. When I was talking to the HVAC professional, he was telling me that I will actually love my new HVAC system way more when I start using it. He says the modern HVAC models are far more energy efficient and I will never be lacking with my air quality or heating and cooling. I guess that’s something I am just going to have to see for myself, we’ll see if the energy bills become cheaper in the future with a new HVAC.
