Just a few days ago, the HVAC system that has both heated and cooled us for the past decade quit working.
This was the first time we had ever experienced any sort of HVAC failure.
The HVAC unit isn’t even half way through its life and he we were looking at HVAC repairs. Some of this could be on us as we haven’t been super committed to making sure the HVAC unit got quality, professional HVAC maintenance every year. In fact, we went several years without any sort of maintenance. This was the result of being cheap and not prioritizing properly. Anyway, we just didn’t schedule the HVAC maintenance as we should have. So, it was with a bit of anxiety that I picked up the phone to call the HVAC people. I shouldn’t have been sweating it because they were great. The lady on the phone was terrific and put me at ease right away. She told me that she would get someone out to me in a few hours. I was sort of worried the HVAC wouldn’t get repaired for several days. I met the HVAC tech in the yard and was impressed right away. Not only was he very professional in manner but, his equipment and tools were so organized. He got right to work and was able to locate the problem within about 10 or 15 minutes. This HVAC pro even had the correct part in his van. We were up and running within 45 minutes of his arrival. While the HVAC repair wasn’t exactly cheap, it was reasonable. And, I feel great knowing that it was done properly and professionally.
