My Mom and Dad are coming to visit at the end of the month and I have been furiously cleaning the apartment.
I want the place to be perfect for my parents, this is the first time that they have come to visit since I moved more than 600 miles away.
They are going to stay for five nights and I am going to show them the city and all of the sites. I have a few nights off work while they are here. I spent most of the month cleaning the floors, walls, and furniture. The floors needed to be scrubbed and cleaned and the furniture needed to be taken care of well. I dusted all of the furniture on Tuesday, and I woke up on Wednesday with dust on the furniture again. I realized that the problem could be the inside of my ductwork. I removed a bunch of air duct covers and the inside of the air duct was covered with dust and dirt. I quickly realized that the problem was with my indoor ventilation system. On Tuesday, I called an Heating and Air Conditioning company that specializes in indoor air quality and ductwork cleaning. I made an appointment to have the ductwork cleaned and sanitized on Wednesday. I really hope that my mom and dad will be comfortable staying with me. I’ve done my best to make sure that things are perfect. I even bought a queen-size bed for the spare family room. I want my parents to sleep in comfort and that means a cozy bed and cool AC. I can’t wait to show them everything in town.
