My Mom and Dad are coming to visit at the end of the week and I have been furiously cleaning the apartment.
I want the place to be perfect for my parents, and this is the first time that they have come to visit since I moved more than 600 miles away.
They are going to stay for 5 days and I am going to show them the city and all of the sites. I have a few days off work while they are here. I spent most of the week cleaning the floors, walls, and furniture. The floors needed to be scrubbed and cleaned and the furniture needed to be worked on well. I dusted all of the furniture on Wednesday, and I woke up on Thursday with dust on the furniture again. I realized that the problem could be inside of our HVAC duct. I removed a bunch of air duct covers and the inside of the air duct was filled with dust and dirt. I quickly realized that the problem was with our indoor ventilation system, then on Friday, I called an Heating and A/C company that specializes in indoor air quality and ductwork cleaning. I made an appointment to have the ductwork cleaned and sanitized on Saturday. I really hope that my Mom and Dad will be happy staying with me. I’ve done my best to make sure that things are perfect. I even bought a queen-size bed for the spare bedroom. I want my parents to sleep in comfort and that means a cozy bed and cool AC. I can’t wait to show them everything in town.
