Cold Showers

My best strategy was to practice our hydration methods, fall asleep to pleasant dreams when our current Heating plus A/C plan would be humming along, circulating its refrigerant through newly cleaned ductwork

I hope I don’t have to experience a repeat of last summer time when all of us updated our Heating plus A/C plan plus were without air conditioning just as a heatwave moved in. It wasn’t too awful for the first few afternoons, however it got seasoned rather quickly. I sent the partner plus kids to Grandma’s house, so they didn’t have to suffer while I stayed lake house to try to beat the heat. I can handle weather definitely up to about 85°F however when it hits 90°F, I look for ways to keep cool. During the heatwave, I wore as little clothing as possible. I used a fan plus tried to remain still, I drank lots of liquids plus confess that straight water was not our primary means of staying hydrated. Many times, I stood in front of the refrigerator fanning the door to provide me a little bit of relief. I even put an ice bin on our head which gave me a wonderful idea, then unfortunately, that idea turned out to be our worst mistake: taking a frigid shower. I found out that while I might stay cool for a few minutes after drenching myself in frigid water, our body’s defense plan reacted as if I was stranded naked on an ice floe. It tried to conserve body heat instead of getting rid of it. My best strategy was to practice our hydration methods, fall asleep to pleasant dreams when our current Heating plus A/C plan would be humming along, circulating its refrigerant through newly cleaned ductwork. I even remembered to pick up the cans before our partner returned. I thought I was in for an simple summer time this year however then our mother-in-law paid us a return visit.
