Being an interior designer, I have seen just about every size in addition to style preference there happens to be.
My most popular customer is the person or couple who has worked for most of their lives and finally purchased their dream residence. One thing that I’m asked very frequently is which style is best for a huge residence? This is, of course, a very impossible question to answer without first knowing your style. I definitely would like to share some of my personal preferences though. I truly love to see a residence with the glamour in silverleaf custom furniture in addition to design. You’re essentially looking at custom furniture with a ton of cloth, a lot of curtains. Usually glamour in silverleaf has a cream tone with plain cloth in addition to lovely curtains; often with enormous buttons. The material is perfectly silky with few other decorations around. Glamour in silverleaf is definitely not advised if you have children- a good amount to tear, plenty to stain in addition to not much room for family photos. For a family residence, I would honestly go with the southwest sparkler style. It’s easily perfect for a huge, glad family. Think American dessert. Warm tones, rock creek edifices, immense custom sofas in addition to plenty of open space to move around. Your walls easily do the talking with the southwest sparkler style. The desert eclectic residence is a style that can be for a family or for its own sake. It pretty much depends on how much you wish to lean into the 70’s aesthetic with the desert eclectic residence style. It can be as quirky or tame as you’d like while still maintaining the neutral color ploy of the southwest sparkler (but without the heavy wall decoration in addition to detail). My personal preference- and style of our own residence- happens to be the old-world estate. The lovely arches, bricks, clay tiles in addition to custom leather furniture in an old-world estate makes me believe completely at home.
