So it was the first time coming over to my best friend, Matt’s place.
We have been friends for over 10 years, but he’s never invited me over to his house.
I eventually asked if I could come over and he agreed. Matt lived on 10 acres of land, and his father wasn’t home yet from being a HVAC professional. Being bored, we decided to go check out the forest that was slightly beyond his property. We entered and explored a bit. It had a beautiful creek, and we watched baby frogs hop along the water. We probably explored the forest for an hour, and we went pretty deep. It began to get dark and we both decided to turn around and head back. It was getting harder to see, and I worried about getting lost, especially since it was really cold at night. Luckily, my friend’s father figured we would be in the forest and he called for us. We followed his voice and we were able to go back home safely. The rest of the night was spent playing board games in front of my friend’s air conditioning system, and his dad told me about all of the crazy HVAC stories he had, and some of the weird problems he’s found with HVAC machines. I personally found heating and cooling machines boring, but some of his stories were interesting. When the next morning came, I headed back home and thought of the beautiful forest. Me and Matt both agreed to meet there again sometime in the near future.
