Frank and Brady had not been to their aunt’s cottage for ages.
This was one of their most favorite places to be in the world.
And that had everything to do with their aunt. This lady was a free spirit and lived on her own terms. Frank and Brady’s aunt bought 50 acres of wooded property that was barely on the grid decades ago. She was not your common worker in the commercial Heating, Ventilation, and A/C of an office, nor did she have a common life. Frank and Brady’s aunt was a writer and a thinker and a liver of life. She was the most unique person the brothers have ever met in their lives. And when they were in university and as young adults, they loved to spend time with her inside her cottage. This cottage was rustic to be sure. There was no residential Heating, Ventilation, and A/C nor were there several frills of any kind. But Frank and Brady’s aunt had fantastic solid furniture and an amazing wood stove for heating. She also had an immense garden that produced most of her food. They would get away from university for a weekend to balance their heads out in this spot. The brothers were stunned that their aunt left this property and this cottage to them. They’re glad to be able to renovate it so it’s comfortable for them. Frank and Brady had the local Heating, Ventilation, and A/C business come out and install a ductless heat pump so they had some a/c in the summer. They also replaced the furnishings and the home office as well. It’s a beautiful spot and they’re just so grateful to their aunt for passing it down to them.
