You have heard of guys having mid life crisis when it comes to emotions and sex right? Well, I have had something that I would call a mid life career change.
I was working as a plumber for several years and finally woke up one day out of the clear blue of nowhere and decided that I was bored with it! I just did not want to be a plumber anymore.
I had the thoughts to want to become a certified heating and air conditioning specialist. I guess since I was a kid I always wanted to get into the heating and air conditioning business but did not know where to start. I finally found out about going to heating and air conditioning school the more I researched this. And as of right now I am in heat and a/c school going for my heating and air conditioning certification at night while still working as a plumber in the daytime hours. Once I graduate and get my heating and air conditioning certification I will be quitting the plumbing business forever and spending the rest of my working days working in the heating and air conditioning business installing and repairing central heating and cooling units everywhere! I will probably go and work for some heating and air conditioning company local to me since I am not one for running their own business. I would not make a good independent heating and air conditioning contractor. But I know I will make a great heating and air conditioning specialist working for another HVAC company!
