I really wish HVAC machines weren’t so expensive! I never realized how expensive a/c installation and repair were.
All of this time I have been taking my cooling component for granted.
Now after 11 years, my HVAC device has finally given out. I thought getting a brand new one would be maybe a few hundred dollars, turns out it could be thousands of dollars! I knew it would take me forever to earn that amount, so I started saving money every month $200 so I can eventually save enough to get an air conditioning system installed. I knew there was no way I could go with any form of HVAC cooling, so I looked online for other options. I found someone selling mini air conditioning units. These weren’t the type that are made of metal and are transportable. These looked like cheap plastic a/c units. I figured they wouldn’t work long and probably weren’t the best quality, but I decided what do I have to lose? They were fairly cheap, so I bought 3 of them and placed them in different areas of my home. One in my living room, one in my bedroom and one in the kitchen. This seemed to work pretty well, as my house cooled down significantly from the three mini A/C systems together. I just can’t wait until I have enough money to buy a permanent brand new one. I called my local HVAC supplier and they gave me an estimate of around $1300 to install a new cooling machine, so it would take me awhile to save up for a new cooling device.
