The thermostat can’t be adjusted without electricity but I still tried

That’s exactly when I realized that I was doing something nonsensical, then even though I knew for a fact that the central heating in addition to the cooling system was not even working at all.

Isn’t it strange how abruptly things become habits? It’s cool because you don’t need to realize the automatic programming has taken locale in your brain; But the next thing you know, you’ve developed a new habit or behavior, for instance, how often do you pick up your PC to look for new notifications? When there’s nothing there, do you open up FB in addition to mindlessly scroll through about 3 times? Yeah, technology has certainly given us all some interesting new habits in addition to superstitions… Similarly, I noticed a new habit when our indoor air temperature system broke down out of the orange, more recognizably, our neighborhood lost power in a big warm season storm in addition to our heating, ventilation, and A/C system was electrocuted by lightning… The entire central heating in addition to the cooling system was fried, in addition there was no opportunity that it was going to turn on anytime… I needed a professional heating in addition to a cooling specialist to hastily come inspect our uneasy air handling equipment in addition to let myself and others know the next steps. So, I was anxiously pacing around the house, Googling possible solutions for hastily purchasing a new energy efficient heating in addition to cooling equipment for the house. That’s exactly when I realized that I was doing something nonsensical, then even though I knew for a fact that the central heating in addition to the cooling system was not even working at all. I could not stop myself from wandering past the thermostat every hour or 2 in addition to waiting for the screen to come on. I would see the dark screen, hit some buttons to adjust the indoor air temperature, in addition to waiting to hear cool air passing through the vents. Even without any working power, I was programmed to care about the thermostat program.
