Bike path by my house offers workout opportunities

When I bought my house, my real estate agent told me about a long bike path located right near.

All I need to do is ride just past my backyard and I have access to this paved path that stretches for miles in either direction.

I realized I could run three miles and arrive at the local soccer field. I can do lunges, crunches, sprints and stretch in the grass. It is helpful that there are drinking fountains and bathroom facilities located on the premises. I then run the three mile run home. It is a fantastic workout. I recently decided to try biking the path. The path was designed for bikes after all. I hadn’t ridden a bike since I was 13 years old. I purchased a bike that suits my adult size and practiced riding again. Now that I have started, I will never stop again. I really enjoy biking for a workout. With running, I often suffered sore feet, knees and hips. A bike ride is so much easier on my joints and I can go further. The best thing is that I can enjoy hands-free music. I have a sound doc, water bottle and my phone mounted to my bike so that I can ride in style. I even bought a basket to transport workout gear. Now, I bike to the soccer field and then do yoga on a mat or run wind sprints on the field. I bike the three miles home within a few minutes. I can workout my whole body and still feel energized. I have even considered going for an hour long bike ride just to enjoy the path.
