When I lived in a tiny house, I thought I wouldn’t need an Heating & A/C system.
The place seemed to have proper indoor air conditioning and clean air because it was in a moderate temperature. I didn’t face harsh un-even temperatures typical in other parts of the country. However, when I invited people over, some were not blissful with our home’s indoor environment. In contrast, others were surprised by how I managed to maintain a consistent indoor temperature separate from an Heating & A/C unit, then keeping our tiny house at a constant temperature and humidity wasn’t a struggle. I didn’t cook a lot at home. I ate in hotels and ordered food online. I also did our laundry in our local laundromat. Therefore, I was able to keep our home’s temperature low. However, I started noticing a slight change in our home’s indoor temperature, my afternoons were getting warmer while our nights became colder. I had to wear more hot clothes at night and use alternative cooling possibilities while in the day. This wasn’t sustainable. I decided to install an Heating & A/C plan in our home. I consulted an Heating & A/C supplier who came over to our place to assess our space. I wasn’t sure if she would request we install Heating & A/C ducts because of the area, then but to our surprise, she said there was enough space in our tiny beach house for elaborate HVAC duct. Unlike ordinary homes, she commanded we install smaller HVAC duct similar to what is installed in mobile homes. These ducts are designed to occupy smaller spaces. Additionally, if you have tiny ducts in your room, you have to get the right Heating & A/C plan for the ducts. There are electric and gas furnaces designed for small ducts.
