Need to add moisture to the air

I have been thinking about adding a humidifier to my house for a really long time.

When I moved into my home I thought it was naturally dry there.

Then I started doing home projects and it really made my air quality stale like. I gutted my bathroom and created tons of dust. I now am laying tile and the smell and dryness of the mastic is very apparent. I have chapped lips, dry skin and a scratchy throat everyday. I know my air quality isn’t exactly fresh but the moisture in the house has to be at an all time low. I read online on the benefits to owning a humidifier and now I have been seriously thinking about one. Did you know that you save on your energy bills with a humidifier in the winter? Adding moisture to the air naturally makes it feel warmer. So you can actually lower the thermostat in the winter to save some money. Too dry of air conditions not only is annoying because of static shock, but can ruin electronics and cause wood to split. A little moisture really goes a long way in terms of comfort. I have hunted online briefly and none of the humidifiers look good to me. I don’t want the stationary white box just sitting in the middle of my living room. It is a giant eyesore that requires lots of maintenance. I am kind of hoping there is some type of humidifier that can install right in my heater and be out of the way.
